Storefront Address Format

This guide explains how customers should enter shipping addresses at storefront checkout.

It is provider-neutral and applies to your storefront address fields regardless of whether shipping is fulfilled by Shippo or internal rules.

Required Checkout Fields​

For the most reliable delivery quotes and labels, collect:

  • Street address line (house/building + street)
  • City
  • Country (ISO-2 code)

Recommended:

  • Region/State
  • Postal code

Avoid:

  • Nairobi
  • Kenya
  • Near market

Country Format​

Use uppercase ISO-2 country codes:

  • US
  • KE
  • NG
  • ZA
  • AE
